- If you have not yet signed up for a conference time with your
child's teacher, please do so ASAP. If you need help you can
call the office at 801-452-4100. They would be happy to help.

Kindergarten Round-up News
We are looking for boys and girls who eill be 5 years old on or before September 1st, 2016
These children will be old enough to start Kindergarten in the fall.
If you know someone who meets this description, Please ask them to contact
Freedom Elementary for more information.
We are now in the process of refistering upcoming kindergarten students
for the 2016-2017 school year. A child-find letter needs to be filled out in the
office, and you will then be given a registration packet to be completed and
turned in at Kindergarten Round-up. Our Round-up has been scheduled
for Wednesday, April 13th at 3:00 in the gym.
Spanish Immersion News
Spanish Immersion Apllications are now available for pickup in the office.
Deadline to submit applications to the Weber School District office is
March 24, 2016, no later than 3:30 pm.
(If you have a student already in the program, you do NOT need to re-apply)

We are looking for a few individuals interested in being on our school's Community Council. Please join us at 4:00 pm in the school library.
SCHOOL LUNCH ACCOUNTS:
Our goal to bring all lunch accounts current continues. Please view your child's account balance by logging in or creating a portal account at https://myweber.wsd.net . If you find that your child has a negative balance, you may make your payment in the lunchroom, in the office, or online at https://myschoolfees.com.
Anyone with a continued negative balance may receive a phone call from their student, a notice sent home with the amount owed, and may also be subject to collection action. If you have questions or need further assistance please contact lunch manager, Lynette Howard immediately at 801-452-4110. Thank you.
As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure student safety at Freedom Elementary we are requiring identification for all visitors. Upon checking in at the office please be prepared to show photo identification.

Parking Lot Procedures:
As we start the school year we wanted to provide an important safety reminder on Parking Lot Procedures.
Please follow these important rules, while picking and dropping off your precious children at Freedom.
Loading Zone : Curbside loading and unloading only, no parking/leaving vehicle, please pull forward
Driving Through Lane :NOT for pick-up or drop-off, but only for driving through the parking lot
Students must always be accompanied by an adult when walking across
the street or parking lot
Red Zones are fire lane and tow away zones
Bus zones : Are for buses and school approved daycare providers only
